All British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP) members now get a discount on Spectrum Photographic’s products and services.
BIPP is internationally recognised with more than 100 years of experience supporting and networking photographers.
The not-for-profit organisation delivers education, qualifications and professional development to photographers.
Spectrum director Hazel Watts described the partnership as a ‘huge honour’.
“BIPP has a fantastic history and supports photographers from around the world,” she said.
“It also represents photography to the government and industry, acting as the voice of the profession. We are thrilled to offer members a 10 per cent discount.”
History of BIPP
On March 28, 1901, 100 photographers held a meeting in Fleet Street and unanimously formed The Professional Photographers’ Association.
Birmingham, Edinburgh, Hull and Liverpool opened branches. By 1907 membership stood at 757.
Since then it has continued to evolve – including three name changes – to become The British Institute of Professional Photography.
