Half-life of a Miracle by Pat Flynn at Manchester Art Gallery

We’ve had the pleasure of supporting artist Pat Flynn with his solo exhibition at Manchester Art Gallery. Half-life of a Miracle presents a decade of photography and film work by Flynn, dating from 2005 to 2015. Flynn’s images are deceptively simple and often his subjects appear to be photographic. However, in reality, the shape, texture and depiction of every object has been meticulously reproduced on 3D computer graphics software. The resultant images are so persuasive in their representation, they aim to question the reliability of our belief system. His work references popular culture, art history, consumerism and his own experience of  growing up in Greater Manchester. Half-life of a Miracle is showing now until 17th April 2016 at Manchester Art Gallery.
