Spectrum Photographic started out as a traditional photo lab running three darkrooms with six enlargers.

We credit our meticulous standards and eye for detail with this history as a busy pro-lab serving fine art photographers globally.

While we have embraced digital advancements in photographic printing, our passion for film photography has been unwavering.

Alongside our fine art digital printing options we still provide traditional photographic  printing services.

We offer in-house colour C-Type darkroom printing and black and white darkroom printing from 35mm to 5×4 negatives as well as black and white film processing.

Bespoke sizes up to an image area of 24” x 20” on a range of paper types and surfaces are available.

Customers can provide printing instructions, provide a match print or leave it to one of our experienced master printers to make a bespoke hand print.

Colour Hand Printing

Print directly from your colour negative. Work with one of our master printers to achieve your exact vision.

Black and White Hand Printing and Processing

Spectrum Photographic is now offering traditional black and white darkroom services to our clients.

Film Scanning

Spectrum offer CCD scans on an Imacon X5 scanner, enabling us to offer scans in either 8 or 16-bit depth with a quality that can rival any drum scan.
