Spectrum Photographic is now stocking the Hahnemühle Natural Line.

The Natural Line is part of the Hahnemühle Digital FineArt Collection.

It focuses on FineArt inkjet papers made from raw materials: bamboo, hemp and agave.

The plants that provide the cellulose require minimal maintenance, grow quickly and don’t need any pesticides.

Their rapid growth means more cellulose can be produced on the same cropland and they require much less water.

This helps to save valuable resources and protect the environment.

Environmental policy

The environmental impact of our work matters to the Spectrum Photographic team.

As well as looking at our own practices, we also support a number of projects promoting sustainability and conservation.

These include the Big Blue Ocean Clean Up and The National Forest’s Plant A Tree scheme.

“In the last few years we have established a strong environmental policy focusing on the materials we use for packaging and how we recycle off cuts and other waste produced at Spectrum,” says co-director Klair Bird.

“When Hahnemühle launched their Natural Line we knew this was something we wanted to get involved with.

“We already stock the popular bamboo paper and by adding the two additional raw materials we are enhancing our media range with the added benefits of sustainability which is an essential consideration in the way we live today.”

The Natural Line complements the Digital FineArt Collection with special fine art inkjet papers made from unique raw materials.

It supports regional and international environmental projects under the Green Rooster initiative.
