NHS fundraising print sale

Simon Roberts has launched an NHS fundraising sale of images taken from his home during lockdown.

Acclaimed photographer Simon Roberts has launched an NHS fundraising print sale.

Throughout lockdown Simon has been posting a daily photograph on Instagram looking out to sea from his home in Brighton.

Now, he has decided to launch a special fundraising sale of the photographs.

One hundred per cent of the profit will go to support the official National Health Service Covid-19 Campaign thanks to print sponsorship from Spectrum Photographic.

‘Moved and humbled’

“Like many I’ve been incredibly moved and frankly humbled by the work that all the staff in the National Health Service have been offering the nation at this challenging time,” said Simon.

“I’ve also felt quite helpless, given I’m at home helping look after our children.

“After watching a harrowing TV news report filmed inside the intensive care at University College Hospital in London as medics treat patients with coronavirus, I decided to launch a fundraising print sale with all the proceeds going to support the official NHS Covid-19 Urgent Appeal.

“The one thing I could do from my kitchen table.”

#adailysea

Since March 19 Simon has been posting a daily photograph of the sea on his Instagram account under #adailysea.

Simon says he has always found solace in the sea. Each photograph is accompanied by a sea-related quote.

Every photograph from the series is available in an edition of 25 prints for £25 plus postage and packaging.

Prints will be dispatched once the lockdown is over.

To choose your print, visit Simon’s Instagram feed. The print number is in the photograph caption.

After choosing your print, email studio@simoncroberts.com with the print number.

There are only 25 prints of each image available. You can email Simon prior to ordering to check if the print you want is still available.
