For clients who require complete confidence in their studio printing results, Spectrum offers a thorough proofing process to ensure accuracy and client satisfaction.

This approach ensures  the final prints meets your expectations in every detail. By working closely with our photo printing studio team, clients can explore finishes, verify image quality, and approve the visual elements of each file before committing to the final product. Files can then be archived free of charge at the request of the client.

Flexible Studio Appointments for Complete Control

At Spectrum, we take pride in being able to provide flexibility to oversee the studio printing process through both in-person appointments and remote options. As such, you will have the choice to work in the studio alongside a master printer or consult remotely by phone or email, depending on your particular preferences. For those who prefer a hands-on approach, our studio offers exclusive access to the tools, guidance, and customisation options that are available only through a professional studio printing service.

Studio Printing Pricing

At Spectrum, our printing studio prices are competitive.

Proof prints 12 x 10″ or test strip are economically priced at: £5.00 for C-type Matt, Lustre or Gloss; and £7.50 for all standard Giclée papers. Washi, Fujiflex C-type/Pearl C-type and Metallic Giclée papers £15 for a 12 x 10″ proof print or a test strip (£100.00 minimum order applies for Fujiflex C-type and Pearl C-type papers).

Larger proof print sizes available on request. All prices are subject to VAT.

Edition prints receive a 20% discount.

We offer maximum widths of 1220mm for C-type and 1,100mm for Giclée, with flexible length options.

Spectrum’s photo printing studio offers a broad selection of papers, but if you don’t find the one you need, please reach out to us because we can source most types of pigment media. To add your preferred paper to the Spectrum range, we charge an initial setup fee of £100 + VAT for profiling, with prints priced at our studio rate. Once added, your chosen paper will be available for all future print orders. Prices include studio time. Edition prints: 20% discount on the prices listed.

If you need to go larger than the sizes listed above, please get in touch for a special price. The maximum widths are 1220mm on C-type and 1,100mm on Giclée but we can go longer on the length.

Prefer to order online but need your files corrected first?

If you don’t need all the elements of a studio printing service and would prefer to use our  fully automated online service, then we can correct your files and match to the specified paper type. We can then WeTransfer the corrected files back to you so you can place your online order. This service is charged at £17.50 + VAT per fifteen minutes.
