At Spectrum, we take pride in being able to provide flexibility to oversee the studio printing process through both in-person appointments and remote options. As such, you will have the choice to work in the studio alongside a master printer or consult remotely by phone or email, depending on your particular preferences. For those who prefer a hands-on approach, our studio offers exclusive access to the tools, guidance, and customisation options that are available only through a professional photo studio printing service.

With our photo printing studio, clients benefit from:

  • Face-to-face consultations to discuss project specifics and visual goals in detail.
  • Access to master printers with in-depth knowledge of various printing techniques and materials.
  • Real-time adjustments for colour, finish, and texture to achieve optimal results.
  • Personalised proofing options, including test strips and reduced-size proofs, to review and refine details before final production.

Working with Spectrum Photographic and the team in different capacities over the years has always been a fantastic experience. For instance, the lab was responsible for printing Mariken Wessels' exhibition as part of Photo Oxford 2017, while I was artistic director alongside Greg Hobson, delivering quality results with the utmost professionalism. Their service is always friendly and prompt too, making our job that much easier as curators who are sometimes working within tight project timescales. In terms of the relationship with 1000 Words, Spectrum has been a much-valued and passionate supporter of the magazine, and our work at large, often through sponsorship and repeat advertising placements. I cannot rate them highly enough.
