Peckham 24 presents a dynamic programme of exhibitions and events during Photo London Week.
Its mission is to shine a spotlight on young and experimental artists working with contemporary photography.
A theme of SOLIDARITY
The 2021 Peckham 24 Festival will be curated on the theme of SOLIDARITY.
The theme reflects the waves of public protest the world witnessed while under lockdown.
An exciting programme will showcase work by contemporary artists in synergy with the narratives of global movements such as Black Lives Matter, Me Too and Reclaim The Streets.
The full programme of exhibitions, events and a list of participating artists will be revealed in August.
Open call opportunity
In keeping with the festival’s focus on new talent in contemporary photography, a call for exhibition proposals on the theme of SOLIDARITY is now open.
The open call is a funded opportunity for an independent, UK-based curator to create a headline show at Peckham 24 2021.
Full details of how to apply are available here.
The closing date for proposals is 5pm on Monday, August 2.
Spectrum Photographic is supporting the open call with a print production budget.
