Peckham 24 2022 – Open Call and festival dates

Peckham 24 2022 is on from May 13-15 with a chance for new talent to exhibit at this year’s festival.

Peckham 24 2022 will once again champion new voices in contemporary photography this May.

The free weekend festival returns to Copeland Park and The Bussey Building in South East London from May 13-15.

Peckham 24, which launched in 2016, is now firmly established as a must-see part of the annual programme of events celebrating photography during Photo London.

This year’s theme is FACT FICTION FANTASY.

The programme explores photography’s relationship to truth, investigation and imagination through the work of artists who blur the lines between the real, the fictional and the fantastical.

Open Call for Peckham 24

As part of Peckham 24’s ongoing mission to support new talent in contemporary photography, an Open Call opportunity is now live.

Proposals are invited from UK-based photographic artists to exhibit on the theme of FACT FICTION FANTASY.

The winning proposal will get:

  • A headline exhibition space at Copeland Gallery for Peckham 24 2022
  • A £250 participation fee
  • A print production budget from Spectrum Photographic
  • Mentoring from the Peckham 24 curatorial team

Applications close on Friday, April 22.

New South London Partnerships

Peckham 24 2022 welcomes two exciting new partnerships to extend the festival’s presence across the borough.

The South London Gallery will host a solo exhibition for one Peckham 24 artist in the Fire Station galleries.

Biblioteka will host an intimate book fair for photographic publishers under the railway arches at Peckham Rye.
